Title Description
Be Ye Followers of Me

1 Corinthians 4:15-16 KJV (15) For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. (16) Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

In – in relation to; in the direction of

Begotten – procreated; regenerated

Followers – imitators, mimicks

Paul made it clear that many people may have interacted with his followers, but most of them invested as much love and guidance into them as he had. In addition to this, he shared that he had not birthed them according to his own desires and plans; he instructed them to “follow in his footsteps” and imitate his behavior as he had adapted his own from Jesus Christ so that they would fulfill their temporal and eternal destinies. However, we have often mentioned “imitating Paul as he imitated Christ,” but what does that mean? We can actually gain great insight into the attributes that we must glean from Paul from his personal testimony in Acts 20.

Casting Down Imaginations

This series addresses the issue of spiritual warfare in the mind of the believer, and it demonstrates through the word of God how to engage the enemy, purge your mind of ungodly thoughts and fortify yourself to live abundantly in Christ.

General Sermons
Glory to Glory

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 KJV (17) Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (18) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Handling Desperate Situations

1 Kings 17:8-16 KJV And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, (9) Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. (10) So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. (11) And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. (12) And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. (13) And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. (14) For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. (15) And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. (16) And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Overcoming Principalities

The principalities mentioned in the book of Ephesians will either entice you, influence, intimidate or control you, or have an effect on the people surrounding you on a daily basis including your family, friends, coworkers, strangers, etc. Since they are governed by spirits of the highest order, you cannot combat them via flesh alone, it must be done through the power of the Holy Spirit in conjunction with the wisdom of the word. You must also realize that they can operate individually or in tandem with each other.   This series addresses how to overcome their influence and control, how to break strongholds or to minister to or deal with their influences in the lives of others.

Overcoming the Plague of Toxic People

This series enables user to identity toxic people, the consequences of remaining in unfruitful relationships with them and how to address their behavior while still being willing to minister anywhere that God leads.

Preparations for 2014

Proverbs 24:27-32 KJV Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. (28) Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips. (29) Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. (30) I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; (31) And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. (32) Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

Recreating Your Universe!

This series addresses how the patriarchs of our faith embarked on journeys or remained obedient to God despite the insurmountable odds they faced, and how we can break free from our former limitations and redefine aspects of our lives based upon our faith.

Removing Restrictions on Forgiveness

Matthew 18:15-22 KJV Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. (16) But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. (17) And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. (18) Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (21) Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? (22) Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

According to the rabbinical rules of forgiveness, forgiveness of someone should not be extended more than three times. In addition to this, even if full restoration was made, forgiveness could not be obtained unless the wrongdoer requested it of the victim and was pardoned. In Peter’s case, going beyond the standard three was an act of liberality in forgiveness, but in order to illustrate that limitations on forgiveness should never be numbered, Jesus responded with a number demonstrating that forgiveness is based upon the quality of grace extended, not the quantity of times it is granted.

This series examines the level of forgiveness that you're willing to grant people and helps you confirm whether you have truly dealt with people with the same level of mercy that God has extended to you.

Sowing Godly Seeds

Human beings are more than seed sowers during the reproductive process. We are continually planting seeds on a daily basis through our actions, behavior, words that we speak and prayers, so we must be wise about what we are planting in our lives and imparting into the lives of others.

Speaking the Future Into Manifestation

Romans 4:17 KJV (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Stand Fast in Your Liberty

This series addresses the necessity of believers realizing whether they've permitted themselves to be placed in bondage despite the freedom that Jesus Christ granted us via the Holy Spirit.

The Act of Forgiveness

Romans 12:17-21 KJV Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.  (18)  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  (19)  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.  (20)  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  (21)  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

True biblically-based forgiveness requires more than a statement, it's a condition of the heart that often necessitates certain actions, professions and other measures to truly alleviate the burden that it places upon our spirits.  This series addresses some of these issues.

Walking Worthy of the Lord

Newsflash

Angels of East Africa

Matthew 18:3-6 KJV  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.  (4)  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  (5)  And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.  (6)  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Angels of East Africa is a Children’s Village for orphans located in South Sudan dedicated to the rescue, restoration, and enablement of children caught in the crossfire of the rebel atrocities in the area. Founded by former Hell's Angel Sam Childers, known as the Machine Gun Preacher, the organization has been operating for a decade, saving the lives of hundreds of children and renewing hope in a region where it had all but vanished.
