James 2:14-20 KJV

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?  (15)  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,  (16)  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?  (17)  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.  (18)  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.  (19)  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.  (20)  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Words cannot express the sorrow that we feel for the plight of the people of Haiti.  Although we've seen many people mention praying for them, Eagle-Eye Ministries has taken the stance that "faith without works is dead."  It is not enough to state that we empathize with them, if we are able to do something, it is imperative that we act immediately to help those in need.  Although we cannot be physically present to help them in saving lives and rebuilding their infrastructure, we can assist them financially by sending funds as we can to help restore their nation.  As a result, we have prayed and decided to immediately contribute to Samaritan's Purse, a ministry founded by Rev. Franklin Graham (the son of Billy Graham) that is already on the ground providing relief to Haiti.

I've heard some remark that maybe this is deserved of a nation that was dedicated to Satan in 1791 and had its president (Aristide) rededicate it in 1991, but my response to that is the following passages of scripture:

Deuteronomy 10:14 KJV

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

1 Corinthians 10:26 KJV

For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

No man can dedicate what belongs to God to the devil, and over the centuries, there have been countless Christian residents, missionaries and ministries dedicated to restoring the people of that nation to God.  We believe that God will turn the current devastation around for His glory through a revival that will sweep this nation spiritually, politically and economically.

We encourage you to join us in this effort as best as you can.  God bless you!

Rescue Life

Matthew 18:3-6 KJV And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (4) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (5) And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. (6) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Mission: RescueLIFE is the newest area of emphasis for LIFE Outreach International with a goal to reach, rescue and restore children who are targeted by human traffickers and the global sex trade industry.

Mission: RescueLIFE began in Thailand in 2008 with the "House of Destiny," and now expands to India, Romania and Cambodia, with the goal of reaching an initial 2,000 children impacted by the horrors of human trafficking. In 2010, we hope to establish a LIFE Center in Thailand dedicated to helping women and children find new hope in a new life.
